I hope that you all understand the importance of building your team. So how do you do it? Here are a few things I have found to be helpful.
1. Make sure to bring it up at every party. When I do a party I try to bring it up 3 times.
When I introduce myself: Hi, my name is Heather and I am from Smithfield, I have always been passionate about food storage and building my home store. I am a Shelf Reliance consultant and I love what I do. If you are interested in madding some extra money or building your food storage by being a consultant I would be happy to get you some information about that.
When I talk about why people don’t build their food storage (home store): When the cost of food storage come up I again mention that a great way to build your food storage or home store is to be a consultant.
At the Very End at the very end of the presentation I once again say
If you or anyone you know if interested in becoming a Shelf Reliance consultant now is a great time to sign up. Right now it is a ground floor opportunity with just over a 1000 consultants the company is exploding in growth. I would be happy to answer any questions about being a consultant.
2. Ask every customer and host
When the customer give you the order for I total it up and when I give them their total. I ask two things to every customer.
Would you like to host a party
Would you like information about being a shelf reliance consultant? If they say no I ask do you know anyone that would?
When I fill out the host benefit order I talk to the host about being a consultant. I also try to talk to her about it each time I talk to her but especially when we are cleaning up from her party.
3. Keep a List of potential consultants. And keep in contact with these people.
How do you start a list? E-mail or call all of you family and friends, ask them if they would be interested. Ask at your parties. Do an expo and keep a list of people interested.
a. E-mail or call the people on my list each month.
b. Invite them to join conference calls that would be relevant—like ones on the commission plan or the “opportunity”
c. Mail Materials—anytime new materials come out I try to mail them a copy (like the new catalog and brochures)
d. Answer Questions—most people have a LOT of questions about being a consultant before them sign up.
4. Promotions: Take advantage of the promotions that your up line have. It is often the push someone needs.
